No, you do not need a referral to see a dietitian. Book when you’re ready!
Chronic Disease Management Plan referrals are accepted. Please speak with you GP to determine if you’re eligble for a Chronic Disease Management Plan.

If you are booking your first appointment with KB Nutrition Solutions, please book an Initial Appointment.
If you are a returning client please book a Review Appointment.
If you have not seen one of our dietitians in six or more months, please book an Initial Appointment.
If you are unsure which appointment to book, please get in contact and our team will assist you.

Payment is taken at the time of the appointment. We accept EFTPOS and Credit Card Payments.
We do not accept cash payments.
Telehealth Appointments

Yes, Telehealth appointments are available. Simply book a ‘Telehealth Initial Appointment’ or a ‘Telehealth Review Appointment’ when booking online.
Alternatively, give our team a call and they will be able to assist you to book a Telehealth appointment.

Payment for a Telehealth appointment is taken at the conclusion of the appointment. Our team will assist you to process the payment.

Any device with a camera and internet connection, such as a phone, laptop or computer, can be used for a video consult.
No apps or software required for your video appointment either!

If you are experiencing any techical difficulties, please give our team a call and we will do our best to help.
If technical difficulties are ongoing our dietitian will do a phone consult instead to ensure you get the most out of your appointment.

Private Health Insurance

Yes, appointments can be claimed through private health insurance.
Whether you are covered and the amount covered by your private health insurance will depend on your level of cover.

Yes, telehealth appointments are covered under private health insurance.
To determine whether you are covered or how much your rebate will be please contact your private health insurer.
Medicare

No, bulk billing is not available.

Yes, we accept Chronic Disease Managements Plan referrals.
Clients with a Chronic Disease Management Plan referral will receive a rebate from Medicare. The current rebate amount is $60.35.
Please bring your referral to your appointment.
To see if you are eligible for a Chronic Disease Management Plan please speak to your GP.

Yes, please bring a copy of your referral to your appointment or ensure your GP has sent us a copy prior to your appointment.
We are unable to process your Medicare rebate if we have not received a copy of your referral.

Yes, clients with a Chronic Disease Management Plan referral can choose a face-to-face appointment or a Telehealth appointment.
DVA

No, we are currently not registered as a DVA health care provider. Therefore, we cannot accept DVA Veterans Cards .
